This agreement, together with the accepted proposal or invoice, sets the terms for House Pour’s private bartending services. The event date, service hours, package, fee, retainer, and any special details appear in that booking confirmation.
01 Payment + booking
The date is reserved only after the Host accepts the proposal and pays the nonrefundable retainer stated there. The remaining balance is due seven calendar days before the event; bookings made within seven days are due in full when accepted. Approved overtime or added costs are due within 24 hours after service.
02 Cancellation + rescheduling
If the Host cancels 14 or more days before the event, House Pour will return amounts paid beyond the retainer. With fewer than 14 days’ notice, all payments are nonrefundable. One request made at least 14 days ahead may transfer payments to a date within six months, subject to availability. Unsafe, unlawful, or severe conditions may require service to pause, end, or be rescheduled.
03 Host-provided alcohol
The Host purchases, owns, transports, and supplies all alcohol, mixers, ice, garnishes, and other items listed for the selected package unless the proposal says otherwise. House Pour does not sell alcohol. The Host confirms that alcohol is permitted at the venue and is responsible for required permissions and lawful possession.
04 Hours + overtime
Service begins and ends at the times in the booking confirmation. Overtime is available only with the Bartender’s approval and schedule availability. It is billed in 30-minute increments at the hourly rate confirmed for the event (typically $50–$60 per hour). The Host may not extend service unilaterally.
05 Safety + liability
The Host is responsible for the venue, guest conduct, safe transportation, and ensuring alcohol is not provided to anyone under 21. House Pour may check ID and refuse or stop service to any person who is underage, visibly intoxicated, disruptive, or unsafe. To the fullest extent permitted by Nebraska law, House Pour is not responsible for claims caused by guests, alcohol consumption, or unsafe premises, except to the extent caused by House Pour’s negligence or willful misconduct. The Host agrees to protect and reimburse House Pour for third-party claims caused by the Host’s breach of this agreement.
06 Gratuity + general terms
Gratuity is optional, never required, and always appreciated. This agreement is governed by Nebraska law and is the complete agreement except for the accepted proposal. Changes must be in writing. If one term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events reasonably outside its control.
Electronic acceptance and payment of the retainer may serve as the Host’s signature.
